Women Empowerment Initiatives

On Friday, 12th September 2025, WFWP Ghana Chapter President, Mrs. Marthe Whyte, and General Secretary, Mrs. Vivian Nkasia, met with 45 women in the community. The gathering began with an education session based on the speech of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, “The Vision of True Womanhood,” highlighting the vital role women play in bringing harmony to their homes and supporting their husbands.

From May to July 2025, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Mali spearheaded a transformative Climate Action Project under the theme: “Let’s Improve the Living Condition of Women Through Solar Lamp – One Woman, One Lamp.”This impactful initiative aimed to tackle the dual challenges of climate change and energy poverty by equipping women and their families with clean, renewable light sources.

On Saturday, 28 June 2025, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Africa, in collaboration with the Hyojeong Academic Foundation (HJAF), held an inspiring online Hyojeong Character Education Teachers’ Training.

On June 21, 2025, the Women's Federation for World Peace South Africa officially launched the Reusable Baby Nappy Project, a community initiative aimed at promoting environmental sustainability while restoring dignity to women and children. The project is generously sponsored by WFWP International.

For the past two years, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Ghana has been engaging with the women of Manchie, a rural community where educational meetings and character-building sessions have steadily nurtured trust, dialogue, and mutual respect.

In response to the dual challenges of poverty and malnutrition among women and children, a transformative community-based initiative has been launched to empower women through practical skill acquisition in tailoring. This project targets mothers of malnourished children, providing them with a sustainable pathway to economic independence and enhanced well-being for their families.

On July 26th and August 10th, 2024, two teams from WF-Ghana visited Coleman and Manchie in the Greater Accra Region to engage with women’s groups and introduce them to the organization's vision and mission, with the aim of registering new associate members and work together to promote peace and development in the community.

On November 2024, the women of Manchie, a community in the Greater region welcomed WFWP-Ghana’s vision. We registered over one hundred women as associate members.

During November and December 2024, WFWP Togo successfully conducted awareness-raising programs targeting young girls and boys in schools located in Lomé Djahblé and Notsé. A total of 210 students, 20 women, and 20 families participated in these sessions.
