To begin the year with meaningful action, WF-Ghana joined hands with associate members in Manchie for a community clean-up initiative. Plastic waste has become a growing concern in the area, and the women of the community invited us to partner with them in addressing this challenge.

On the evening of 31 January 2026, 81 women from across Africa logged into Zoom not merely to attend a meeting, but to renew a shared commitment — a commitment to action, to unity, and to peace. Under the powerful theme “Women in Action: Shaping a Peaceful Society,” the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Africa General Assembly became a vibrant continental gathering of hearts and minds determined to turn vision into reality.

On 7 February 2026, the Global Women Peace Network (GWPN) South Africa hosted a community gathering at 29 Oxford Road, Johannesburg for a meaningful Mindful Meals event that brought together 40 participants. The gathering created a warm and welcoming space to connect, share a meal, and reflect on how we can build a more caring community.

On 25 November 2025, the Women’s Federation for World Peace International Liberia (WFWPI Liberia) held a leadership meeting in Monrovia, bringing together eight members to elect new leaders and discuss organizational plans.

On 3 January 2026, the Women’s Federation for World Peace Liberia (WFWP Liberia), in partnership with Peace Hana International School System, successfully held a Women’s Empowerment and Youth Education Workshop
