The program was facilitated by Ms. Hayong Wonderlik, who served as MC and guided participants through the afternoon’s reflections and activities. Ms. Gwendoline Tshimbana WFWP South Africa President, officially welcomed everyone, provided context for the program, and acknowledged the support of ChangeX, whose funding made the event possible.During the community reflection session, Mr. Emeraude Ndonga shared insights on how caring for one another contributes to building a healthier and more united community.

Participants also took part in the “One Word, One Intention” activity, expressing hopes such as love, peace, gratitude, joy, and positive energy—helping everyone reconnect and set intentions for the year ahead.

The event concluded with Mrs. Flory Ledwaba, Africa Regional Secretary General, shared the future vision of the Global Women Peace Network South Africa, emphasizing continued partnership with the community and inviting participants to attend future programs. She highlighted that the purpose of the Network is to encourage all women—regardless of title or position—to recognize their ability to accomplish extraordinary things for the sake of the greater good. Through peace leadership based on the feminine aspect of human nature, GWPN seeks to ensure lasting peace and prosperity for generations to come.
