WFWP Côte d'Ivoire Joins Historic Launch of ADWIN Global Network in Abidjan

The Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Côte d'Ivoire proudly participated in the official launch of #ADWIN, a global network of African and Afro-descendant women dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities and the world.

The prestigious event took place on [insert event date] at the Sofitel Hotel in Abidjan from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by an elegant Gala Dinner held at Latrille Events in Cocody from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. The occasion was held under the high patronage of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire, and brought together dynamic women leaders from the Ivorian government, civil society, and international spheres.

Representing WFWP Côte d'Ivoire was Mrs. Enan, who shared:

“It was with great joy and honor that I represented our organization at this remarkable gathering of women united by purpose, vision, and solidarity.”

She was joined by Ms. Yao Jokebed, Director of WFWP Bélier Region, who also represented a prominent national women's NGO with which she actively collaborates in her region.The launch of ADWIN provided a powerful platform for networking, inspiration, and mutual support, reinforcing the shared commitment of women leaders to peacebuilding, empowerment, and inclusive development. 

The presence of WFWP Côte d'Ivoire underscored the organization's ongoing dedication to advancing women's leadership and fostering meaningful partnerships at both grassroots and global levels.This momentous event reflects the growing momentum of African and Afro-descendant women working together to shape a more peaceful and prosperous future for all.
