WFWP Chad held a community meeting with 27 participants to strengthen the spiritual and organizational life of its members while preparing for upcoming community development activities. The meeting began with a reflection from Putting Peace Into Practice, creating an atmosphere of unity and inspiration as participants reflected on the importance of living out the values of peace through service, cooperation, and personal responsibility.
A major focus of the meeting was the planning of the recycling seminar, one of WFWP Chad's ongoing environmental initiatives. Although the seminar date has not yet been finalized, participants were informed that it will be announced in the coming days. The recycling program continues to encourage environmental awareness while promoting community participation and sustainable practices.
Another important outcome of the meeting was the selection of three mothers to receive specialized training, following the recommendation of the chairperson, Mrs. Geraldine Deneram. The training will focus on practical guidance for women on maintaining a healthy home environment and caring for their personal well-being. This initiative will be integrated into the recycling program, combining environmental education with family life and women's empowerment.
The meeting also emphasized good organizational practices through discussions on upcoming activity reports and financial accountability. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to transparency, teamwork, and shared responsibility as they continue serving their communities.Through spiritual reflection, practical education, and collaborative planning, WFWP Chad continues to empower women to become leaders of peace in their families and communities while promoting sustainable development and a culture of responsible citizenship.
