Celebrating UN Day

By: Dr. Susan Kone International Day of the African Child was held on the 16th of June 2023 to honor the memories of students who were massacred in Soweto, South Africa in 1976 for protesting against injustice and inequality in the apartheid regime. The Day was first initiated in 1991 by the Organization of African Unity (Now AU) in 1991.

In May 2024, the WFWP Cote d'Ivoire held a conferences in commemoration of International Women's Day: 1. Conference in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2. Monthly meeting of the women's federation of the Bélier region 3. Celebration of excellence at the modern college of Abiaté 4. Mother's Day celebration at Assinie mafia. 5. Mother’s Day celebration in the Goh region 6. Donation to the Padre Pio nursery in Bonoua.
