For the past two years, the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Ghana has been engaging with the women of Manchie, a rural community where educational meetings and character-building sessions have steadily nurtured trust, dialogue, and mutual respect.

This year, WF-Japan sponsored the construction of a Bio digester Modern Toilet facility in the Amamorley Methodist school in, a community located in the greater Accra region.

Work on the field stated since October 2024 and by December, the building has been roofed. The finishing work in been done and hopefully the keys will be given to the school’s authorities in the months to come.

Some brilliant students who were from socially challenged families were enrolled into the project as WF- Ghana stepped in to support those children in their basic education. Among them, we have doctor Jerry A. a medical doctor who was picked and supported from the primary to the tertiary level. The project leader, Mrs. Nomura finds foster parents in Japan who support of basic education of foster children in Ghana.
