Completion & Commission of a sponsored project of WFWP-Japan in Ghana

WF-Ghana has been over the years supported by volunteers of WF-Japan in carrying out various service projects in Ghana. This year, WF-Japan sponsored the construction of a Bio digester Modern Toilet facility in the Amamorley Methodist school in, a community located in the greater Accra region.

WFWP Ghana Embarked on a Construction Project of toilet facility in Amamoley in the Greater Accra Region

The Executives of WF-Ghana organized several meetings with the school’s authorities and finally a venue was allocated for the building. Work on the field stated since October 2024 and by December, the building has been roofed. The finishing work in been done and hopefully the keys will be given to the school’s authorities in the months to come.

WFWP Ghana Visit to Scholarship Students in Communities

WF-Ghana started a scholarship scheme project over ten (10) years ago with the support of WF-Japan. Some brilliant students who were from socially challenged families were enrolled into the project as WF- Ghana stepped in to support those children in their basic education. Among them, we have doctor Jerry A. a medical doctor who was picked and supported from the primary to the tertiary level. The project leader, Mrs. Nomura finds foster parents in Japan who support of basic education of foster children in Ghana.
