WFWP Zambia Welcomes International President and Japanese Youth Delegation

By. Mrs. Annie Mwale

WFWP Zambia was honored to receive special visitors — the International WFWP President, Mrs. Moriko Hori, together with a group of WFWP Japanese youth who traveled to Zambia for a cultural exchange, service project, and educational program.

In her welcoming remarks, WFWP Zambia Chapter President, Mrs. Annie Mwale, expressed deep gratitude for the visit:

“We are honored by the coming of our leaders from headquarters to join us in sharing experiences, perspectives, and expertise. We believe in the power of global togetherness, where women from diverse backgrounds come together to support one another, share knowledge, and advocate for noble causes. Your presence enriches our discussions and inspires us to work towards a more goal-oriented WFWP Zambia Chapter and a more just and equitable society.”

The visit provided an opportunity for fruitful dialogue, exchange of ideas, and mutual learning. The Japanese youth delegation also engaged with members in cultural and service activities, fostering bonds of friendship and solidarity across borders.

Through this exchange, WFWP Zambia strengthened its collective voice and renewed its commitment to empowering women and girls, not only locally but as part of the wider global movement.
