
The Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Africa held a special Meet and Greet sessions on 19 April and 22 May 2026 respectively to welcome the newly appointed President of WFWP Africa, bringing together national chapter leaders from across the continent.
The meeting was graced by Mrs. Moriko Hori, WFWP International President, and Dr. Paris Moon, International Secretary General, who shared messages of encouragement and support for the continued growth of WFWP Africa.National Chapter representatives from Burkina Faso, Chad, DR Congo, Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Gabon, Lesotho, Guinea-Conakry, Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Uganda, and Zimbabwe participated in the gathering, reflecting strong continental unity and collaboration.
In her remarks, Mrs. Hori emphasized the importance of unity and shared purpose in advancing peace and women’s leadership. She said: "The future of peace depends on what we choose to do today. This is the Era of Women." Dr. Moon highlighted the value of strengthened cooperation between WFWP International and African chapters.
The newly appointed President expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed her commitment to serving with dedication and teamwork, building on the strong foundation of WFWP Africa’s work.
The session concluded with a renewed spirit of unity and commitment to advancing peace, empowerment, and family values across the African continent.
