WFWP-Burkina Faso organized a one-day seminar for 30 core women members aged 16 and above at Centre Cardinal Paul Zongrana under the theme, “Living in Deep Connection with Our Co-founder.” The event marked the beginning of the new President mission following her appointment as President of WFWP-BF on 19 March 2026 and inauguration on 5 April 2026.
The seminar aimed to reaffirm our mission as women of peace and service, encourage women to become agents of positive change, and create a supportive environment for sharing experiences, healing, and unity. Participants were reminded of their role as missionaries dedicated to empowering women and families in Burkina Faso.
Several presentations enriched the program: Mrs. Ye Jun Nonguierma introduced the vision and mission of WFWP; Mrs. Jacqueline Sou spoke on responsibility and engagement; Mrs. Saibatou Kabore addressed communication methods; and Mrs. Kadi Kara presented on health and sanitation.
The seminar concluded with the oath-taking ceremony for newly appointed WFWP-BF officers. Encouraging messages from regional and continental leaders inspired participants to strengthen unity, faith, and commitment to peace-building and women’s empowerment
