The General Assembly of the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Côte d’Ivoire was held on 28 February 2026 in a warm and deeply united atmosphere of sisterhood. This special edition was marked by exceptional mobilization, as Local Presidents traveled from all regions of Côte d’Ivoire to reaffirm their commitment to the mission and vision of WFWP.
The gathering reflected strong organizational vitality and renewed dedication to strengthening families, empowering women, and promoting peace at the grassroots level.
Before lunch, Mrs. Kounou Marlène, Local President of Abidjan Nord, led a practical and engaging culinary workshop on the preparation of couscous. The session created a joyful moment of exchange, highlighting the importance of sharing skills that strengthen family life and community cohesion.
A key highlight of the day was a thematic conference presented by Rev. Dena Parfait, who delivered an inspiring talk on the dangers of bitterness in social, moral, and spiritual life. The session offered participants practical guidance on overcoming emotional burdens and embracing forgiveness, healing, and inner freedom.
Local Presidents presented their activity reports and outlined future action plans for their respective regions. These presentations demonstrated the continued growth and dynamism of WFWP branches across Côte d’Ivoire, as well as their commitment to expanding impact in communities.
The afternoon session brought moments of joy and relaxation, featuring games, karaoke, musical performances, and group dances. These activities strengthened bonds among members and reinforced the spirit of unity and sisterhood.
The General Assembly concluded with a practical empowerment workshop on the production of multi-purpose liquid soap, equipping participants with useful skills for income generation and self-reliance.
The day ended on a celebratory note with the distribution of souvenirs and a traditional group photo, capturing the spirit of unity shared throughout the event. A total of 74 participants took part in this meaningful gathering.Through such initiatives, WFWP Côte d’Ivoire continues to nurture inner growth, strengthen families, and empower women as active builders of peace in their communities.
